Ok. The surgeon just came out. They found the sponge and it is now out of Jack!! They were able to get it out without opening the ribs. He is going to recovery and hoping to get the tube out before making it up to the CICU room.

Hoping and praying this does not set Jack back too far!!

  1. I am so impressed by the way you all managed not to focus on blaming the medical team for their mistake and instead stayed focused on how you can support Jack in recovering. What a relief to hear they got the sponge out without too much further trauma. Here's hoping your charming little boy will soon be back on the road to health and comfort.   2. i am so miss my little angel around here! I am glad they where able to get the sponge and that he is doing well after! Please give him a big hug and kiss from Brina and tell him I miss him so very much and love him dearly! My afternoons just aren't the same with out my little angel aroud! I am saying prayers for you everyday! If you guys can think of anything you need please let me know!!!! Love to all of you! "Brina"

  3. Thank GOD they found it in him...and found it on the x-ray before it started causing problems. You are doing an amazing job handling all of this and you all continue to be in my prayers.
